Privacy Notice

Last updated · 21 September 2026

This notice explains what personal information Pampe Events collects through this website, why we collect it, who else handles it and what you can ask us to do with it.

We have kept it specific to this website rather than generic. If anything here is unclear, please ask us.

Who we are

Pampe Events is an event planning and management company working across Nigeria and the United Kingdom.

The data controller is The Pampe Events Company, of Lagos, Nigeria. You can reach us about anything in this notice at pampeeventsng@gmail.com.

What we collect, and when

We only collect information you type in yourself. There is no tracking, profiling or advertising technology on this website.

  • When you book a consultation: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, what you are celebrating and, if you tell us, where it will be.
  • When you use the budget estimator: your email address, and optionally your name and phone number, so we can send you the estimate you asked for.
  • Alongside the estimate we pass on the answers you gave the estimator (market, guest count, budget range and the service it suggested), so you are not asked the same questions twice.
  • If you choose a time in the calendar, Cal.com also records the appointment details needed to hold the booking and send you the invitation.

Why we collect it

  • To reply to your enquiry and prepare for your consultation. Without your contact details we cannot get back to you.
  • To send you the budget estimate you requested.
  • To send you occasional emails about planning support, but only where you ticked the box asking us to. You can tell us to stop at any time and we will.

For enquiries, we rely on your consent and on our legitimate interest in responding to someone who has asked us to. For marketing emails we rely on your consent alone.

Who else handles your information

We keep the number of third parties deliberately small. These are the only ones involved:

  • Netlify hosts this website and receives the details you submit through its forms. Netlify is based in the United States.
  • Cal.com provides the booking calendar on the second step of the consultation flow, and sends your confirmation and calendar invitation.
  • Google (Gmail) hosts the inbox that receives the enquiry notifications Netlify sends us.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else.

Information leaving Nigeria or the UK

Our hosting and booking providers are based outside Nigeria and the UK, which means your information may be stored or processed abroad.

For information reaching the United States, we rely on the data processing terms our providers publish, which incorporate the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses together with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum where UK data is involved. Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 we transfer only to recipients bound by comparable safeguards. You can ask us which terms apply to a particular provider.

Cookies and browser storage

This website sets no cookies of its own. There is no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind, and the fonts are served from this site rather than from a third party.

One piece of browser storage is used. When you move from the budget estimator into the booking form, your answers are held in your browser for that visit only, so you are not asked for them again. It is never sent anywhere other than with the form you submit, and it is discarded when you close the tab.

The booking calendar on the second step of the consultation flow is provided by Cal.com and loads inside a frame on that step only, not when you first open the page. Cal.com sets its own cookies in order to work. If you would rather avoid them, you can email or call us to arrange a consultation instead.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond and, where you become a client, for the life of the project and six years afterwards so we can meet our records and tax obligations. Estimator enquiries that do not lead to a conversation are deleted after twelve months.

If you would like your details removed sooner than that, ask us and we will do it, unless we are required to keep them.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for a particular purpose. You can also withdraw consent for marketing emails at any time.

Write to us at pampeeventsng@gmail.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK (ico.org.uk) or to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (ndpc.gov.ng).

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and the date shown at the top.
